Things to do

The Fife Coastal Path offers excellent walking, cycling and mountain biking opportunities with cycle routes that pass right by the lodges just at the end of the road. 

The pretty coastal town of Anstruther is also close at hand with its charming harbour, award-winning fish and chips and home to the fascinating Scottish Fisheries Museum.

The historic town of St Andrews, home of golf and the legendary Old Course, celebrated for its university and beautiful beaches is less than 10 miles away.

Nearby Elie Water Sports offers a range of activities that water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with, while fishermen are well catered for with sea fishing close at hand and boat trips to the stunning Isle of May Nature Reserve.

 

Kids’ activities

The Fife Coastal Path is perfect for family walks and bike rides. With 117 miles of accessible paths and cycle routes from the lodges, explore as near or as far as you want.

Elie Water Sports offers exciting activities for families and children from windsurfing and water skiing to sailing, inflatable rides and pedal boats.

Kids will love exploring the picturesque, award winning beaches that run along the Fife Coastline; known as the Fringe of Gold because of its long stretches of sandy beaches.
